Introducing The Dutch Sensation, Dyro
Dyro is no new kid on the block, discovered by Laidback Luke on a forum in 2010, Dyro was signed by Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and since then there has been no looking back for the Dutch Producer.
Dyro, who’s known for his more aggressive electro sound, while also having experimented with trap, drum n bass, has seamlessly made the transition from bedroom musician to renowned international DJ/Producer.
We take a look at his journey to the upper ranks of the EDM scenes.
Dyro started off at a very young age but he really hit the breakthrough with his single Daftastic which was released On Hardwell’s label Revealed Recordings. After that, he went to drop a number of tracks on different labels and also collaborated with many other artists.
Dyro joined Hardwell and Dannic on “Hardwell presents Revealed: Canadian Bus Tour,” and “Revealed North American Tour” in 2013. 2013 also marked the beginning of Dyro’s illustrious career as he claimed the highest new entry slot in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll at No. 30.
Journey to the upper ranks
Since then he has produced a lot of hit singles like ‘You Gotta Know, Never Say Goodbye, Leprechauns & Unicorns, WOLV, Black Smoke, Radical, Calling Out and much more most of them charting on Beatport.
To expand and diversify his music, in 2014 Dyro started his own label WOLV Records. The record label releases both Dyro’s and other upcoming artists’ materials.
Currently, he is crowned #27 on the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll and throughout his career has performed at a number of festivals like Electric Zoo, Barbarella, Future Music Festival, UMF, Tomorrowland. Since 2014, he has headlined venues such as Ministry of Sound in London and Space in Ibiza and now he is back in India for his two city Dyro India tour 2016.
We at EDMofy will be at Kitty Su, Mumbai on 22nd May for the Dyro India Tour 2016 to witness the Dutch Maestro in action. See you guys there! 🙂
