In what comes as a major welcome surprise to all dance fans in Asia, the world’s No.1 DJ Hardwell, has announced to enthrall his Indian audiences in Mumbai this December. But unlike the majority of performances on the EDM scene attracting crowds through music festivals and club parties, this December date will see Hardwell bring to light his noble side.
Touted to be the ‘World’s Biggest Guestlist’ party, the Dutch DJ and producer has chosen the 13th of December at Mumbai to be the unveiling of his very own foundation, ‘United We Are’. Supporting the need of strengthening the roots of global education , all profits from the dance and music night will be dedicated to the schooling of children in India. On his Facebook page, Hardwell sent out an invitation to everyone to join him for free, by pre-registering to become one of the chosen 100,000 to be in the spotlight on the occasion of one of his many milestones.
After his hugely successful India tour in 2013, Hardwell in Mumbai, in association with Sunburn, will definitely be a talking point of the year for EDM fanatics out here. With the added agenda for his charitable foundation also on the books, expectations are already running high for the young music mastermind who made it big.
But what’s making waves in the social media is Hardwell’s attempt to create a Guiness World Record with the mega crowd that will accompany him at Mumbai. And considering the sheer youth of India following music religiously, the record might well be in its making.
With so much glamour packed into one chilly night, it would definitely be a shame not to be a part of it. Register on the link on Hardwell’s Facebook page and do it fast; there’s still a million people wanting to make it in the chosen 1 lakh. We’ll see you there 😀
