Tomorrowland Goa 2015 could be a reality soon!

The biggest EDM Festival in the world, Tomorrowland wants to come to Goa in January 2015!

Remember we told you Tomorrowland could be headed to India next? Now that seems to be turning into a reality very soon. The Goa Tourism Minister, Dilip Parulekar shared that the organisers of the largest EDM Festival in the world, Tomorrowland are planning to conduct a three-day Electronic Dance Music Festival in Goa in Mid January!

Speaking about the Music Festival scene in Goa the State Tourism Minister said:-

Apart from the proposal received from Percept & Supersonic (Vh1 India) to host music festivals in the month of December, we have also received a proposal of one of the most  notable global music festival group, “Tomorrowland”! 

He also shared that the event organisers have approached the government & have shown interest to host the event in Mid-January which itself is a strong indication that Tomorrowland Goa 2015 could be a reality soon! Adding to this he said that the responsibility for land identification will have to be borne by the group since they need 3.5 Lakh sq mts land to host the biggest music festival India has ever seen.

Being undeniably one of the biggest EDM festivals in  the world , Tomorrowland has been an event which has united hundreds and thousands of Artists and EDM fans all over the world. It’s no surprise that attending Tomorrowland is on the bucket list of many people out there, and artists love to release their new tracks by debuting it in their sets during the festival.

As much as we would love to see Tomorrowland happen in the very state where EDMofy is Headquartered  we are surprised by the fact that Tomorrowland is looking out to announce yet another venue just a few months before the proposed dates!
