Deadmau5 Revolution India 2014

Joel Zimmerman Aka the Deadmau5 has become one of the leading figures in the EDM world. His hits include ‘Faxing Berlin’ and ‘The Veldt’. He has released albums like 4×4=12 and >album title goes here<. He is known by his mischievous mouse mask. Deadmau5 has been nominated for the Grammy Award many times and has won multiple Juno Awards. Joel’s stage name ‘Deadmau5′ was inspired by the carcass of a frozen rodent that he found in a computer he had constructed. He adopted a helmet/mask to support the name, with the famed accessory having a variety of looks and incarnations. The mau5 head is Joel zimmerman’s trademark now. It is not just an helmet, the head sports a decent amount of Tech in it ranging from headphones to sound reactive LED’s.

Deadmau5 altogether is a separate breed of artists and plays his unique genres. He is also is known for his crazy visuals and stage effects. Sadly,  the cube stage will not be making it to India this year, but hang on there cause that is not going to stop deadmau5’s AV team from giving us spectacular visuals or we’d rather put it as “Orgasms”! 😉

Deadmau5 is all set to enthral the Indian audience this weekend alongside the dutch DJ and record producer, R3hab.

Deadmau5 has been interacting with his Indian fans allot on twitter. He also announced his liking, Daler Mehndi’s “Tunak tunak tun” song so much that he is reported to be making a mix of it especially for his India Tour as seen in this video:

In recent news, Daler Mehndi announced that he would be attending Deadmau5’s gig. He also joked about having a coffee run with Daler Mehndi. (Errr… Lassi Run** )

In other news, Deadmau5 is also excited to taste the Indian cuisine and ride an elephant. And hopes that India will be the country which will sport the largest number of mau5 heads for his gig! Have you made one for yourself yet?

Btw, this is our personal favorite mau5 head design:
